Summary Summary: Fibrinogen-like 2 is a fibrinogen-like protein similar to the beta- and gamma-chains of fibrinogen. FGL2 carboxyl-terminus consists of the fibrinogen-related domains (FRED). FGL2 forms a tetrameric complex which is stabilized by interchain disulfide bonds. FLG2 may play a role in physiologic functions at mucosal sites.
